Housing Market Stats Charlotte, NC February 2009

This report covers only SFR Houses in the following marketing areas – 1-9, 13 and 99. These areas are in Charlotte NC in Mecklenburg County, and do not comprise of all areas covered by the MLS. For the purpose of the numbers reported here, houses or home will not include condominiums, nor townhomes.

For February the CMLS (Carolina Multiple Listing Service) reported 1,900 new listings, with an average list price of $326,423. 670 Homes were under contract at an average list price of $254,012.00 Homes sold for February was 487, at an average sales price of $223,297.00 These homes sold for 94.56% of the list price. Overall the average days on market (DOM) for these homes was 108.
