This report covers only SFR Houses in the following marketing areas – 1-9, 13 and 99. These areas are in Charlotte NC in Mecklenburg County, and do not comprise of all areas covered by the MLS. For the purpose of the numbers reported here, houses or home will not include condominiums, nor townhomes.

For August the CMLS (Carolina Multiple Listing Service) reported 1,913 new listings, with an average list price of $292,730. 986 Homes were under contract at an average list price of $243,362.00 Homes sold for August was 775, at an average sales price of $247,941.00 These homes sold for 95.27% of the list price. Overall the average days on market (DOM) for these homes was 128.
