Charlotte REALTORS often use area maps to quickly identify where a home is located. The areas aren’t based on communities, but on a pattern similar to a spider web (appropriate huh), or a wagon wheel. It makes it easy for us to communicate with clients and identify areas of the city based on a simple system.
Here we go -
Suppose your job is in Uptown Charlotte and you’ve seen a few communities you like in Area 01 – 05.
We can quickly identify the part of the Charlotte where you’re considering purchasing a home, and set up custom searches tailored to your needs.
The first number is the Area number. Think of the second number in terms of how far in the area, you are from Uptown Charlotte…
So – the lower the second number the closer you’d be to uptown Charlotte, area 1-5 is going to be farther out than area 1-1.
